At the same time, their motivation for English learning is getting higher because of the development of IT and of the enlargement of opportunity for their studying and working abroad.\r\nIt is necessary to develope auditory learning material/teaching method for blind learners and visual learning material/teaching method for deaf learners. By adopting both in one self-learning software and making the sound and image adjustable, students who are weak-sighted and hard of hearing can learn English comfortably. Students without disabilities also have a tendency to rely on visual cognition or auditory cognition, varying from learner to learner. Therefore this kind of learning software is effective for all the learners. In this development, the new language teaching theories and IT systems are taken advantage of. Effective software based on theories of second language acquisition further leads to discussion of the same text on the Internet, which improves their communicative competence.
