In this study, we carried out a survey of impact of daily work activities and work\nrecognition on job satisfaction and clarified respective characteristics that affects the degree of job satisfaction. [Methods] The administrators working for elderly welfare service agencies and\nnursing homes were selected as subjects for this survey. Three items of work activities, work recognition and job satisfaction were surveyed. We took a mailing survey method using a selffilled\nquestionnaire. [Results] The results indicated that job contents and work recognition have a significant influence on job satisfaction, and that work recognition is more influential than\nwork activities. [Conclusion] The degree of job satisfaction was found to depend upon receiving legitimate evaluation and exerting decision-making authority.
