The survey was conducted by interviewing multiple\nmanagers in the social work departments of two hospitals in the United States.\nThe components of the department structure were extracted and analyzed using\nthe interviews conducted and the materials obtained. As a result, 35 items were\nextracted. These were grouped into five categories; (1) standardization, setting,\nand allocation of operations; (2) recruitment, staffing, and training; (3) monitoring,\nsupervision, troubleshooting, and coordination; (4) communication, organizational\nreform, and regional cooperation; and (5) the evaluation of operations and quality\nof service. It was derived that these are all interrelated, and are systems that\nare constantly evaluated and improved.
