| 内容記述 | Abstract: This report describes the service learning programs which we conducted in the academic year 2017 at Kesennuma which suffered from the Great East Japan Earthquake and Kumamoto which suffered from the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake and the 2017 heavy rain disaster. Through these service learning, the students came to have confidence, were motivated to study themselves, enhanced general ability and gained the sense of citizenship. It is noteworthy that more than half of the members who went to Kumamoto were students with physical or hearing impairment, which made the session rich with diversity. As UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) states, the students were “facilitating peer support and mentoring”(art.24) and they promoted “positive perceptions” and “recognition of …their contributions to the workplace”(art.8). That kind of diversity is also the core concept of liberal arts. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 要旨：本稿は2017 年度に行った被災地サービスラーニングをリベラルアーツからの視点から論じながら報告するものである。2017 年度に筆者らは2011 年の東日本大震災の被災地気仙沼、2016 年の大震災および2017 年の豪雨に見舞われた熊本にてサービスラーニングを行った。学生たちは自己肯定感を高め、自習の動機を強め、広汎的能力を獲得し、市民性を高めたと考えられる。熊本に出向いた学生のうち過半数が障がいをもつ学生（四肢・聴覚）であったことは、チームの中の多様性を豊かにし、またお互いに助け合ったことで障がい者の権利条約24 条に謳われているピアサポートの重要性を体験することができた。また、現地の協力者およびチーム全体に対して、障がい者の肯定的なイメージや社会への貢献（同第8 条）を示すことになった。多様性こそリベラルアーツのコア概念であり、今回のサービスラーニングの成果となった。 | |||||
