| 内容記述 | The study aims to clarify the scope of the “theory of research methodology on the history of facilities” proposed by Yuji Tsumagari, a leader in historical research on disabilities to contribute to the development of research on the history of social welfare. The study finds that Tsumagari’s theory of research methodology systematized the following three perspectives: (1) unified histories of school education and social welfare facilities, (2) mental retardation as a social issue, and (3) historical and empirical perspectives on mental retardation using historical materials (especially primary materials). These viewpoints were suggested by his teacher, Yutaka Sugita of Tokyo University of Education, and inevitably led him to examine facilities. Furthermore, this research methodology was evidently formulated, along with the views (issue awareness) of Yutaka Sugita, through participation in the compilation of A 100-Year History of Tokyo Alms House (youikuin) led by Yasuko Ichibangase. 本研究は、社会福祉学における歴史的研究の発展に寄与すべく、障害の歴史研究を牽引してきた津曲裕次が提示した「施設史研究方法論」における視点（問題意識）とその射程を明らかにすることを目的として行われた。同研究では、津曲による研究方法論が、彼の師に当たる東京教育大学の杉田裕が示唆した（1）学校教育史と施設福祉史を統一的に捉える視点に、（2）精神薄弱問題を社会問題として捉える視点と（3）精神薄弱問題について史資料（特に一次史料を重視）を用いて歴史的・実証的に捉えるという視点を加えた3つの視点を研究方法論として体系化したもので、それが施設という場に向かうには必然性があったことが看取された。さらに、同研究方法論が、杉田裕の視点（問題意識）とともに、一番ケ瀬康子を代表として行われた養育院百年史の編纂への参画がひとつのきっかけとなって具体化したことが明らかになった。 |
